We were instructed by the managing agent on behalf of this freehold-owning RMC. The client had expended around £2 million on works and fees on a programme of window and door replacements.
Unfortunately, some areas were suffering with water ingress into the common areas due to windows not being fitted correctly. We were tasked to survey the relevant areas from ropes, arrange for some non-combustible cladding to be removed to inspect closely.

We compiled a detailed report which the client used to challenge the original contractor on their installation. Noted in the report was the lack of insulation in many areas which the client would simply have been none the wider.
